Before you can use Itranslator 2003, you will have to enable 'International Support' on your system. Select your windows version: Enabling International Support in Windows 2000 Add Language Support 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. Click on Regional Options. 3. On the General tab, under Language settings for the system, select the check box next to the "Indic" language group. 4. Click on "Apply" button. To complete the installation of language groups, you must insert the Windows 2000 CD-ROM or have access to the system files from the network. Once the languages are installed, Windows 2000 prompts you to restart the computer. Add Keyboard/Input Method Editor 1. Click on Regional Options in Control Panel. 2. Click on the Input Locales tab. 3. On the Input Locales tab, click Add. 4. In the Add Input Locale dialog box, click the "Sanskrit" input locale and the "Devanagari-INSCRIPT" keyboard layout. Click OK to exit. On the Input Locales page, click OK again to close Regional Options. 5. You should now see a language indicator in the System Tray (located at bottom right hand corner of the desktop by default). NOTE: You can switch between different input methods by pressing the Left Alt + Shift keys. Click on Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options. 3. Click on Regional and Language Options. 4. The Regional and Language Options applet appears. 5. Click on the Languages tab. 6. Under Supplemental language support, select the check box "Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages". 7. Click OK or Apply. You will prompted to insert the Windows CD-ROM or point to a network location where the files are located. After the files are installed, you must restart your computer. Add Keyboard/Input Method Editor 1. Follow steps 1 - 5 from "Add Language Support" above. 2. Under "Text services and input languages," click on the "Details..." button. 3. Under Installed Services, click "Add..." 4. In the Add Input Language dialog box, click the "Sanskrit" input language and the "Devanagari-INSCRIPT" keyboard layout. Once done, click OK to exit. On the Text Services and Input Languages page, click OK again to close Regional Options. 5. Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options. 2. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, and then click Change keyboards. 3. Under Installed services, click Add. 4. Double-click the language you want to add, double-click the text services you want to add, select the text services options you want to add, and then click OK.
