Visit to the Famous Iyengar Yoga Centre
of Yogacharya Zubin Zarthoshtimanesh

 Mr. Zubin, a Bachelor of Arts Graduate, committed himself to the path of Yoga on the advice of his honourable Father. With the help of B.K.S. Iyengar, who recognised the great talent of Zubin, he soon became a full-fledged Yoga teacher. He travelled with Guruji Iyengar to different countries and participated in International Iyengar Yoga Conventions. Zubin several times visited Omkarananda Patanjala Yoga Centre in Rishikesh, where he gave lectures and discourses.

Mr. Zubin, who always likes the dance of Kumari Somashekhari during functions in Rishikesh, invited her as well as Swami Vishveshwarananda to his Yoga centre in Matunga, Mumbai.

Reaching from Hubli, Karnataka, in Mumbai, on 24th February, Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari could finally visit Zubin's Iyengar Yoga Centre, on 25th February 2013.

It is very rare to see a Yoga-hall with such a perfection as it is seen in Iyengar Yogabhiyasa Institute, which was established by Zubinji.

The Yoga-hall, very spacious, good ventilated, etc., is not lacking anything, which is essential in the modern line of Yoga teaching. Props, mats, rubber bricks, etc. and many other facilities are there for the maximum benefit in bringing up an ideal student.

Mr. Zubin, a young, handsome Parsi man, and his noble soft-speaking wife Parizad, are running the Iyengar Yogabhyasa Centre. Their Guru B.K.S. Iyengar personally inaugurated this Centre for Yoga.

Majestically, in the middle of the hall, great Lord Patanjali, nicely decorated with flowers and surrounded with pure incense fragrance, is always blessing each and everybody attending the classes.

Zubinjji and his lovely wife Parizad gave an overwhelming and affectionate welcome to Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari Somashekhari. The two Yoga Experts couldn't hide their extreme happiness, that finally, after so many requests, Swamiji and Somaji were visiting their Centre. They honoured both of them with fragrant flower malas and then Swami Vishveshwarananda and Soma were guided to the Altar of Patanjali, where they lighted Deepas and Agarbattis and joined the prayers for Lord Patanjali.

Zubin's impressive Yoga Hall is situated just behind/above the famous South-Indian Temple known as "Kanyaka Parameshwari Kovil", which surely adds to the fine vibrations of the Yoga Centre. Even dress rooms, wash rooms and other conveniences attached to the Yoga Centre, are sparkling of cleanliness.

In spite of his high class and most qualified nature, Yogacharya Zubin is very humble, soft-spoken and always ready to serve.

With the help of his graceful wife, who practically assists him, the Institute reached a high professional level in the field of Yoga.
