Visit of Param Pujya Shri Swami Govinddev Giriji Maharaj (Acharya Shri Kishorji Vyas), to Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, on 22^nd May 2012

It was a special day when Param Pujya Shri Swami Govinddev Giriji (Acharya Kishorji Vyas) visited Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. A traditional welcome with Purnakumbha and chanting of Vedic Shlokas was done by the Priests of Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir. Swami Vishveshwarananda, President Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, garlanded the Saint with a beautiful flower mala.

Shri Swami Govinddev Giri is welcomed with traditional Purnakumbha by the Members of Omkarananda Ashram.

After the introduction to all the Members of the Ashram, everybody went to Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Temple for Darshan. Kumari Somashekhari guided Swamiji through all the different Temple-Shrines in the Ashram, while explaining the history of each Shrine and the Meaning. Swami Govinddev Giri was visibly touched by the beauty and cleanliness of the Temple. He also appreciated Soma for her highly spiritual explanation in perfect Hindi language.

Later on, while sitting in the audience room everybody had the opportunity to hear the holy voice of the Saint with his great experience he had with greatest Masters of his time.

Swamiji, in the reception room, is going through photo reports about the works of Omkarananda Ashram, together with Kumari Somashekhari, Swami Vishveshwarananda, Shri Krishnamurthy, Sukumar, Mr. Kalani and Swamiji's assistant.

Swami Govinddev Giri is a great Vedic Scholar and a true Katha Vachak. Since more than 30 years he is giving Katha in different places in India. He is a Personality of highest divine Knowledge. Swamiji is the Founder President of Maharshi Vedavyas Pratishthan, Pune, and has established so far 21 Vedic Schools for a young generation.

Remarkable is his Humbleness, Purity and child-like Nature. Swamiji is undoubtedly possessed by a pure, divine Nature.
