A recent study, conducted by a team of Yoga-Experts, under the guidance of Dr. Otto Stricker, who lived in India for over 4 years, revealed, that the "Patanjala Yoga Kendra", a Yoga-School of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, which is run by Usha Devi, is among the 24 best Yoga-Schools in India.

This was published in December 2011, in the Book "Yoga in India", by Earth.org GmbH, Munich, Germany, after an extensive research all over India for several years.

Pages 14 to 19 of the above mentioned book contain information and photos of Usha Devi and the wonderful Yoga School in Omkarananda Ganga Sadan.

Since many years Usha Devi is running successfully an Iyengar Yoga School for interested Yoga-Students from all over the world in Omkarananda Ganga Sadan, which is situated directly at the holy river Ganga, in Muni-ki-reti, via Rishikesh.

She is a direct disciple of the world-famous Yoga-Guru Shri B.K.S Iyengar and studies since almost two decades every year several months under his direct guidance. She is so much dedicated to this extraordinary Yoga-Guru and his teachings, that it is no exaggeration to say, that she definitely belongs to his Star-Disciples.

Usha Devi is an excellent and extremely hard wording Yoga-instructor, who, with her tireless efforts, has made the Yoga-School in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas gaining good reputation and fame all over the world.

Usha Devi is assisted by her saintly son Siddhartha Krishna, who is a wonderful Vedic Scholar and from time to time gives lectures in Yoga and Vedanta for the Yoga students.
