My heartfelt Adorations to the Divinity in all of you!

Special Adorations to our most honourable Principal Sahab, Col. Sachdeva, respected Prof. Dr. S.L. Singh, Somaji, Shri Swami Narasimhuluji, our wonderful Mr. Varshney and our Shri Rawatji!

Respected Parents, dear Students, my deepest Adorations to you!

Today I could experience a few very wonderful things here. All the performances, which have been given by the students, had a very great meaning. It was a very impressive performance by some of our wonderful students, when they showed through a story, how superstition and malpractice by so called "healers" can cost the life of a patient, who could have been otherwise cured. I also liked this Hindi skit, which demonstrates, how dangerous it is, when we pollute our environment with plastic and all other things, and how essential it is that we are quickly going to change this bad habit in order to save the earth.

Dear students, ask yourself: Are you really taking care as far as plastic is concerned? In many occasions, when I went to the Ganges, I saw, how careless our environment is kept. You see, we have to learn, we even have to learn from other countries! Many people from India are doing very well in other countries, say for instance in Singapore. Recently a young student, who lives in Singapore, was here. He told me, even if you throw a paper sheet away, you may be fined. But there everything is absolutely clean. Though we may not go to the maximum extent as it is there, but we should really take care! See, all of you, you like the country, but can we make the country a dustbin? It is absolutely unfair to this beautiful country to make it a dustbin! We have to be very careful, we have to collect the waste material and put it in a proper place. This is very essential. You see, you are very young. If you are going to implement this, then it is very good, it will be very helpful. But you know, sometimes people think: "Oh! Anybody else takes care." But if nobody takes care, then we will sink into an ocean of dirt and that is definitely bad.

One of our bright students, who was announcing, she told very clearly that the tiny tots will be the future of the country. This is exactly true and she said it very, very correctly. See, you students, you boys and girls, you are truly the future. So what you are learning now and what you are doing now, the country will be tomorrow. Each one of you is responsible!

Lord Krishna said, that nobody, who is coming to this planet, can live without actions. The moment you have come, the moment you have been born, not a single moment you can be without actions. You may be going to take rest, but this rest is just for 6-7 hours. Afterwards you have to work, you have to eat, you are responsible, that means your entire life is full of actions. But now the question is, what we are doing out of these actions? We can do good actions or we can do bad actions, but we earn the results of it. If we do good actions, we and everybody will be prosperous. Your friends will automatically imitate your good actions. Your neighbours will automatically be inspired by you for good actions. So, these actions which you perform in daily life, make them good actions. It is very important that you spend your life in proper activity. Many youngsters are being sometimes driven away by the oceans of these T.V. channels, by the oceans of this modern music, discos and all these things here, which can make them to go a very dangerous way.

Dear Students, sometimes youngsters take up a hobby. They take up something in which their mind is engaged. When your mind is engaged in a wonderful hobby, in a progressive hobby, in a constructive hobby, then when you are passing the time for this, you are always engaged in a positive way. You are keeping all darkness and evil thoughts and wrong things totally away. So, you are keeping yourself in an ocean of goodness, in an ocean of progressive things, of constructive works. So, try to do such things in the free time! Either you study, whatever you have to study, or use your free time for productive works. Make something which you like to live for, be active, be active in something productive, in something which generates good. Then happiness will come in to your heart. Unhappiness only follows when our mind is rotating away in wrong directions, when we are not engaging ourselves in good things. See, in the T.V. one can have a whole instruction manual how to do wrong things. So if one is sitting all the time behind the T.V. and fills one's heart with such type of nonsense, it is very very dangerous. That means not that the T.V. is bad, but what one is looking is maybe bad.

So, kindly see that you are engaged in very good things and that your heart is always full with positive activities. The moment you are not engaged, there is always a danger that your mind may drag you down and your mind will drag you in something which can be later on very painful for yourself and which can be also very painful for your parents. So, it is very essential that you are always engaged, engaged in good things. Why great Saints are constantly in prayers? They don't want to leave a single moment idle. They know that the moment, when they are not in the thought of the Divine, they may be carried away by very dark forces.

So, when you keep yourself engaged in productive works, it has very good results, it makes you very happy. Hard work is never harmful. But no work can be very harmful, because of the dangers, that you may be driven away in something which may be highly controversial and having bad consequences.

See, we are speaking very high of great personalities. We are speaking very high of Bill Gates. Do you know that a man like Bill Gates was working 18 hours a day? And what is the outcome of his hard work? He made a wonderful thing, which may be anyone of you has been using.

So, always try to keep yourself engaged, engaged in something very good, that makes for you and also for your surrounding a very good atmosphere and then this will give you a lot of happiness.

I remember many examples of youngsters. Some took up a hobby in their free time, while others were sinking into the discos and later on entering in very bad company. Those people who were engaged in productive things, they were prosperous, they were wonderful and they made very excellent progress in their profession.
As our student said, you are the future of the country. We owe to the country to be good, because this country, India, is not an ordinary country. It is a country where the greatest Saints and Sages, where wonderful people have taken incarnation. And they have specially come to this place, specially to India. India has produced marvellous personalities. We can learn from them how to be good.

The philosophy that we are having, that Vedic system which we are having, that Hinduism, which is called sometimes "a religion", sometimes "a way of life", whatsoever you may call it, is something extraordinary. And if we keep in our heart this Vedic Philosophy, which is so extraordinary, the teachings, which have been given by greatest Saints and Sages, if we keep them in our hearts and at the same time we are engaging ourselves in productive works, maybe in the studies or in other constructive things, then you will see, that wonders will happen. And when your life is good, automatically bad thoughts, sickness, difficulties and problems will be kept away. It is very essential, to be as this beautiful philosophy says: "Be honest, truthful and good." This only can bring very good results for you.

Now I would like to thank all the teachers, who have made this function today very successful. I do understand, that they have taken a lot of pain to train the students and arrange their nice dresses. Everything has been made in a perfect way and it was really very impressive. Thanks to the teachers and especially thanks to our Principal Sahab, who always wants to see that our boys and girls are being given a very excellent education along with a good character, a noble, shining personality.

Because of that, see how much attractive you are! When you will be going later on for a selection of a job or higher studies you will be sparkling, your eyes will be sparkling, because your heart is very pure, because you are living a wonderful life here. And then naturally people will be automatically attracted to you and they want you, they want to be with you, that is the wonderful result! And that is all given here to you by this wonderful Institution.

You see, Swami Omkarananda has taken all the pain upon Himself to provide everything, so that you have an easy way, that you have good people here, that you have a very good place here. Just try to make use of all this and work very hard. The benefit will come to you. And you will definitely become a very shining personality. So many wonderful boys and girls who came out of Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, they are now highly successful in different places and people ask for them. They set a great example for you. Follow their footsteps! And if you are doing that, definitely you will be enriched, not only enriched spiritually, but you will also be enriched materially. Everything will come definitely automatically into your hands.

The only thing I want to request you, keep that beautiful philosophy, that Vedic Science, always in your heart. On one hand you may be engaged in the activities, whatsoever you are doing, but on the other hand always keep up this divine philosophy. As long as you have this beautiful philosophy in your heart, you are always safe. If you are going away from that, you may enter in a very great danger and you may vanish one day or the other. So be very careful. Life is very short. Make the maximum in the minimum of time.

I also would like to express my thanks to the parents who had faith in our School, who brought their children to our School here. They believe that when their children are coming here, then a good education is being given to them to make them absolutely ideal. Of course here in the School you may be for 6 hours and the rest you are at home. Definitely a great responsibility goes to the teachers, goes to the Principal of this School, but a great responsibility, a very great responsibility, also goes to the parents. If parents allow the children to do just whatever they want and don't give them a proper guidance, then they are equally at fault. So parents also have to be very careful, if they want their child to become an example of excellence.

I have told already earlier times, that very often people from European countries are having special likings for people from India, be it in the field of medical Sciences or other fields. European people like the people of India, because Indian people have a warmth, have a sympathetic and soft way of behaviour and that is so wonderful, but the main reason I believe, is, because they are carrying inside that great spirit with which India has been blessed by the great Sages, the Vedic Science, which has been given to all of us.

Dear children, see, India is such a beautiful country, where there are so many different religions. Whatsoever the situation is, even if other people are there, please never criticize anyone, always be faithful to your own religion, but also appreciate other people, be kind and nice to them, then your life will be peaceful and with peacefulness a lot of happiness will come, a happiness which makes you shining and a happiness which grants you a lot of progress.

Once more I would like to thank everybody, all students, all teachers and Principal Sahab, who all have done the maximum for a successful function over here. May Gurudev Shri Swami Omkarananda's blessings be always with you! Keep them in your heart and you will see, wonders and good results will come, because Gurudev is an extraordinary Saint and Mystic and with His Grace you will experience more and more extraordinary things.
