In the evening of 28th November 2010, after the lighting of the Deepas, special dance-performances were conducted in Omkarananda Vidya Bhawan, Omkarananda Nagar, Muni-ki-reti.

Shri Praveen Nair, a typical Odissi Dancer and Yogacharya from Malaysia, performed four items. The first one was "Saraswati Mangalacharan" in Raga Saberi and Eka Tala. The second item was "Pallavi" in Raga Shankarabharanam and Eka Tala. The third was "Ardha-Narishwara Ashtakam" in Raga Mallika and Eka Tala and the fourth and last item was "Moksha" in Raga Bilu and Eka Tala.

Kumari Somashekhari, Solo and with her students Neha and Pinky, presented 4 colourful dances, out of which 3 dances had been choreographed by Somashekhari. Her first Solo Dance was "Ganesha Kautuvam". The second Solo Dance was "Shivanatha Teri Mahima". The third item was "Banke Bihari Tere Nainaa Kajaraare" by Somashekhari and her students and the last item was "Omkarananda Arati Dance".

More than 120 guests, mainly Yoga students, were thrilled to see these Master Performances of all the artists and responded with a very enthusiastic clapping.

Swami Vishveshwarananda, President, Omkarananda Ashram, presided over the function.

In the end all the artists were felicitated for their hard work.

The Priests Suresh Pandit and Sanjay Pandit concluded this cultural program with Omkarananda Arati and Pushpanjali and then special Prasadam was served to all the guests.
