Swami Prajnananda is lighting the Deepas on the Altar of Swami Omkarananda.

Shri Shantilal Patel, Shri R.S. Rawat, Omkarananda Hillschools Inspector, Shri Swami Prajnananda from Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and Shri P.C. Malhotra from Delhi, along with photographer and videographer left for Deoprayag to our Omkarananda Saraswati High School, which is situated at the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda, opposite to our Omkarananda Rock.

A special function was celebrated for the inauguration of new class rooms of this High School. Shri Patel, disciple of Swami Omkarananda, was very instrumental for the construction of those new class rooms.

The students, under the guidance of Dr. Bhatia, Director of the school, entertained the audience with different nice performances.

The Chairman of Nagar Panchayat, Deoprayag, praised the work of Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati.

Omkarananda School students, teachers and parents are watching
the function. Not far, in the background, is the famous confluence
of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda, from where the Ganga river starts.
