Anjali
Rawat brought laurels to the English Medium Inter-College
Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, Muni-ki-Reti, Rishikesh,
Uttarakhand, when she secured a whopping 97.25% in ISC-2010. As a
student, Anjali has always been very hard working, studious,
disciplined and obedient. She believes in 'not leaving for
tomorrow what can be done today', a valuable advice often given by
Gurudev Shri Swami Omkarananda to others, which probably could be
the reason behind her success. She is an All-Rounder taking keen
interest in sports and para-academics. She took up the
responsibility of leading her School House-Elites as the
Vice-Captain and later was selected as the School Captain. Her
self-discipline and sincerity towards her work could be seen by
the way she managed and tackled the difficult situations. She is
an excellent orator which has resulted in her winning many prizes
in the School as well as at the Inter-School levels.
She
has added another feather to her cap by securing the 95th Rank at
the All India Level in the CLAT (Common Law Aptitude Test)
entrance and got admission in NALSAR College, Hyderabad, Andhra
Pradesh, which is one of the most prestigious Colleges of the
Country.
Siddharth Sahani, another gem of
Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam, is the ICSE topper for the year
2010. He has secured 94.4% marks.
The diligence and hard work of these
Omkarananda Saraswati Nilayam students would lead them to many
milestones.
