on 5th February 2010
Prof. Ram Kumar Sharma, an exponent in the
field of education, is known for his deep dedication to the Vedic
science. He is holding presently an important post in the
University of Patanjali. As Officer on Special Duty Prof. Sharma
brought his students, around 40 students for P.G. Diploma in Yoga
and Cultural Tourism, to Omkarananda-Kamakshi-Devi Mandir for
Darshan. After being blessed by the Priests, a question and answer
session was held in the Ashram Auditorium, where the students
could interact with Swami Vishveshwarananda and Kumari
Somashekhari. The different questions raised by the students
showed a great interest in the ancient Indian culture.
Prof. Sharma also addressed the students
and was full of praise for Swami Omkarananda and His Successor
Swami Vishveshwarananda and their great works in Garhwal
Himalayas.
After a joyous and brain-storming evening,
everybody could have a refreshment. Many of the girl students,
being attracted to Soma, had even more questions to her and the
cameras went on clicking.
