Special Mahakala-Bhairava Puja,
in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas,
on 26th February 2010

As ever, Lord Mahakala-Bhairava stands majestically, dressed with beautiful ornaments, surrounded with flowers and fragrances, in his well-decorated shrine, overlooking the entire Temple complex of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. After all, as Kshetrapal He takes care for everything that happens. He protects, He helps and He does not like that the valuable time will be wasted.

On 26th February 2010, Puja and Hawana in Mahakala-Bhairava Mandir were conducted in a very exclusive manner. The Kalabhairava Utsava Murti was brought in front of the shrine, where the Puja took place.

Vrinda Bhagwat, a prime disciple of Shri Prabhuji and deeply dedicated to Lord Mahakala-Bhairava, joined the Omkarananda Ashram Priests in their special Puja. After hour-long prayers the Arati concluded a very great function on that particular day.

The beautiful Mahakala-Bhairava Mandir in Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas is surrounded by small Bilva-trees. The light-green Bilva-leaves are seen on the right side.
