The dark-blue characters show what will be typed/printed. The gray characters are for reference only. To type a character, press and hold the Alt-Key. Using the Numeric Keypad, type '0' (zero) and the ASCII code mentioned below the character; then release the Alt-key.

Important: NumLock has to be on.
